How are the tents equipped?
You will find the equipment of each tent clearly listed on the Accommodation page.
Is there lighting and are there sockets in the tent?
The glamping dome tent has comfortable equipment like an apartment. The simpler bell and sailing tents have a post with lighting, a socket and an extension cord.
Won't it be too hot or too cold in the tent?
The glamping dome tent is equipped with air conditioning that cools in summer and heats in winter. The bell and sailing tents have a fan. On colder days an electric heater can be used for a fee.
Are there towels in the tent?
Yes, a towel is provided for every guest.
Is it possible to cook in the tent?
There is no cooker or hob in the tents. The glamping dome tents have a microwave. Another microwave for free use is in the common room. Every tent has its own gas barbecue outside.
Is there a fridge in the tent?
Every tent has a small fridge.
Can we come with a dog?
Pets are welcome for a fee of CZK 300/day.
Is there a fee for final cleaning?
When booking accommodation we automatically add a fee of CZK 1,000 for final cleaning.
Booking and stay
How do check-in and check-out work?
Check-in is from 15:00 on the day of arrival, check-out by 10:00 on the day of departure. In the main season check-in takes place in the common room, which also serves as the reception. If no staff are present, you can check in yourself via online check-in – all instructions will be sent to your e-mail.
What are the cancellation conditions?
You will find the cancellation information in the terms and conditions.
Is it possible to hold a celebration or a team-building event?
Definitely. Our capacity is up to 61 people, so we are the ideal choice for group events and company events. You will find more information on the For groups page.
Are there quiet hours in the resort?
Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 6:00. During this time we ask guests to avoid excessive noise that would disturb others.
Facilities and comfort
How far apart are the tents?
The tents are 5 metres or more apart. Glamping Slapy has the pleasant atmosphere of a smaller glamping resort.
How far are the shared sanitary facilities?
The sanitary facilities are about 30–60 metres from the bell and sailing tents.
What does the wellness zone include?
We are working on the wellness zone. Currently the hot tub and the wood-fired hot bath are in operation for a fee of CZK 300/day.
Is the stay suitable for families with children?
Yes. The resort is very popular with families – it offers open space, a playground, its own beach by the reservoir and many trip destinations nearby.
Is the resort suitable for a romantic stay?
Yes, it is a great choice for a romantic weekend. Keep in mind, however, that it is a resort with several guests, so you will not find absolute privacy here.
Is the accommodation suitable for people with disabilities?
We currently do not have wheelchair access, but we are planning it.
Food and services
Is it possible to order breakfast?
You can use the nearby Molo restaurant, which offers breakfast for CZK 350 per person/day. The restaurant is open from May/June to September, depending on the weather.
Is there a restaurant or bar in the resort?
The resort has a common room with a self-service bar. In the main season staff will be present during selected hours. The offer includes draught beer, non-alcoholic beer, lemonades and many kinds of spirits for mixing cocktails. You can pay by card or QR code.
Are there restaurants nearby?
The nearest MOLO restaurant is close by and is open from May/June to the end of September. Nearby you will also find other places to eat well: Motorest Slapy, Hospoda u Taterů, Svatojánská rotunda and Golf Slapy. We recommend checking the opening hours in advance.
Where is the nearest grocery store?
The nearest shops are in Netvořice and Štěchovice. The most convenient option is to order groceries via the online supermarket Rohlik.cz.
Location and activities
How far is the beach from the camp?
Right in the resort there is a smaller beach, suitable for pets too. The large sandy beach by the Slapy reservoir is about 200 metres from the resort.
What activities does the Slapy area offer?
The Slapy reservoir is one of the most popular recreational areas in Central Bohemia. You will find trip tips on our Day trips page.
Transport
Is there a car park at the resort?
Yes, right at the entrance to the resort there is free parking for guests.
Can I get to Glamping Slapy without a car?
Yes. Within walking distance of the resort there is the stop of PID bus no. 390 Rabyně – Nová Rabyně, which departs from Prague's Smíchov railway station.
